Reopens Italian Embassy in Tripoli

  • Wednesday, 01 February 2017

9 January 2017. Now Italy has a new ambassador to the service in Tripoli, an embassy functioning, albeit with all the limitations of the case, and above all a political project rag to try to stabilize the country and to curb trafficking, primarily of illegal immigration flow.

It 'a bet, even risky, that the Interior Minister Marco Minniti went on to launch meeting in Tripoli the government of President Fayez Serraj. Of course, for the moment the only concrete fact is precisely the embassy reopened, against which there are promises made by Fayez Serraj government that perhaps indicate the start of a new political process.
